A State of Mind
Why Israel must become secular and democratic. A memoir
By Ofra Yeshua-Lyth
About the Author
Ex-journalist Ofra Yeshua-Lyth served as correspondent for Israel's second largest newspaper Maarive in Germany and in the US. Presently she co-owns a Tel Aviv PR and strategic consultancy. Her first book provides a personal, bitter-sweet examination of the basic Israeli-Jewish identity dissonance, generated by Israel's failure to separate between State and religion. Inner conflicts based on ethnic, social and cultural gaps are a direct outcome of this failure, which is in the heart of the regional hostilities.
